Anyone still in the regiment from when 13 was a proper battery. I'm trying to trace anyone who remembers playing shock in the battery bar, or at least till the point when it all became an alcoholic blur. I'ver heard through the grapevine that a number of our older members have passed away. Wanted to make contact before anymore of the old gimmers pass away. [b]

Can confirm that George Wilson & Ron Sutherland are deceased, attended both funerals. Also Ian Cooper (Ex 25 Battery from 70's in Larkhill died a few years ago).

Is that the same George Wilson that stayed with 27Regt?when 19Regt went back to the UK, his wife work in 19Fld Regt Officers mess. We had some good times in the Brush and shovel before he decided to go back to 19Regt.We sank some Vodka and cokes that night.Danny.C

I`m not from 13 Bty,but I do remember when they were AMF(L). In Norway they put a rope out in the snow, when the Roughie tuffies attacked it was pulled up. The resulting altercation was stopped before, I think it would have been the Bty, was demolished. I was Arty HQ, Rebro station.
